About Veterans’ Opportunities in Art and Art Education Fund

Frontline Arts is very pleased to announce the "Veterans’ Opportunities in Art and Art Education Fund" to help support our Frontline Paper Program. Originating as the “52 Reasons to Love a Vet” fund, it was gifted to Frontline Arts in 2021 by Ella Rue and Bob Eyet via Hunterdon Healthcare Foundation, Inc, and began as a fund solely benefitting veterans by financially assisting them in furthering their education and/or assisting with medical, dental or mental health resources. This fund has been supported by many world-renowned artists and illustrators who each created and donated an original editorial visual statement illustrating their thoughts on either war or veterans, which is in a collection now housed by Frontline Arts.

The funding from “52 Reasons to Love a Vet” opens up a whole new world of possibilities to continue education in new techniques, along with greater support for our weekly Sunday workshops, which now meet both virtually and in-person. We hope that this fund provides additional opportunities for Veterans in the arts and to help the public better understand the complex veteran narrative. We are ever grateful for the support of “52 Reasons to Love a Vet” to begin our "Veterans’ Opportunities in Art and Art Education Fund" as well as ongoing grants and individual donations supporting the Frontline Paper program.
